Hello, remote workers! Have you ever wished you could get in-depth training from experts at telecommuting and dispersed teamwork? Well you’re in luck. I’ve been asked to speak at the upcoming Day Camp 4 Developers virtual conference, a full day of sessions devoted to the theme of telecommuting. Click through for more info!
Hi folks! I know it’s been quiet around here; I’ve been busy with work and with my other blog, Virtuous Code. Not to worry, though; there will be fresh new podcasts and articles about dispersed teams and remote work very soon.
In the meantime, I wanted to let you know about something I’m really excited about. I’ve been asked to speak at the upcoming Day Camp 4 Developers virtual conference on March 5th. I’ll be speaking on the topic “The Well Equipped Remote Worker”. I’m going to be drawing on all the lessons I’ve learned from my own remote work experience, as well as the dozens of interviews I’ve conducted with other remote workers, to talk about the tools and practices you need to stay productive, motivated, and in sync with your dispersed team.
The theme of the conference is “Telecommuting”, so all of the sessions will be on topics of interest to readers of Wide Teams. And it’s a virtual conference, so there’s no travel involved – you can attend form the comfort of your own desk. If you’ve ever wanted to learn from a group of experienced remote workers, this is a great opportunity.
