    If you’re reading this you’ve almost certainly noticed that this site hasn’t been updated for a while. The fact is that between running RubyTapas, appearing the Ruby Rogues podcast, writing books, and various other commitments I haven’t had time to keep up the Wide Teams podcast. In the years since I kicked off this show, running around interviewing people at RailsConf with a cheap mic and a silly hat, the landscape of distributed work has changed a lot. It’s far more common now to see technology jobs listed as “local or remote”. Popular books have been written about the distributed work revolution. And more and more, the technologists I talk to are familiar with the tools and practices of remote collaboration.
